Gingerbread houses

We were a little slow this year (actually, the 'we' really means me!) getting around to making our gingerbread houses. But for the girls it was better late than never. :) They LOVE decorating their houses. This year I decided to put the graham crackers around (rinsed out) orange juice boxes, and it worked really well. In the past we have had issues with collapsing houses. :) If you look close you will see that my "mortar" job is SERIOUSLY lacking, but I figured it was going to get covered up with frosting anyway. :)

The girls all showing off their finished product. They sure had fun decorating them and then throwing them in the garbage with all of the candy still on them two days later. Obviously they were more fun to make than they were to eat!!!

Hey, that's a great idea with the juice cartons. They turned out cute. Your girls are so adorable!!!
